The Royal Bank fetes holders of The Royal Child Account
The Royal Bank has held a party for over 300 children who are account holders of The Royal Child Account. The Children were treated to a gallery of entertainment including games, music, dance, quiz, food and drinks at the Head Office of the Bank. The account holders were also taken on a tour of the plush Royal Bank Head Office building at South Legon in Accra introducing them to the workings of a Bank and to have a feel of the bank’s boardroom.
The over 300 children took turns in Music, Dance and Quiz for lower and upper primary students. Gifty Elikem Adomey of God’s Grace International School - Tesano, emerged winner of the lower primary spelling “B” contest with Usman Abdul Zakou of Morning Glory Teshie Nungua as runner up. In the Upper Primary contest Emmanuel Apedo of Good Shepherd Gbawe won with accumulated points of 10 and Jeremy Ato Sam of Mary Mother of Good Council School, Airport West, placed second with 8 points. Prizes were awarded to deserving students while every child took home a special gift from the Bank. Fadila Abdul Razak took the prize for the exciting Musical Chairs run around contest. The annual programme dubbed The Royal Child Party, forms part of the package of benefits for account holders of the Royal Child Account. The Royal Child Account is a savings account designed to introduce children to the concept of savings and management of finance. Beneficiaries of The Royal Child Account enjoy high competitive rates on their deposits with a life insurance cover. Deposits in the account can also be used as collaterals to secure school fees loan.
