The Management of The Royal Bank Foundation has donated four medical oxygen concentrators to the Police Hospital in Accra.
The oxygen concentrators are devices that take in air and purify it for use by people requiring medical oxygen.
Mr Robert Bentil, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of The Royal Bank, presenting the items to the Hospital, said the equipment is to support the Hospital to perform its duty of providing quality healthcare delivery to people.
The CEO of The Royal Bank, said the donation followed a request made by the Hospital to The Royal Bank Foundation. He said with these portable oxygen concentrators, Hospital staff could easily transfer the device to other patients in need. He expressed the hope that with these oxygen concentrators, the Hospital would be able to continue to save lives thereby protecting the human resource of the country.
The Foundation has three areas of focus including health, water and sanitation, education and culture and sport. He said the objective of the Foundation is to support the needy and vulnerable in society.
