Mr. Robert Kow Bentil was until recently the Managing Director of the Sahel-Sahara Bank BSIC Ghana Limited) a position he has held since May 9, 2009 prior to serving as the Deputy Managing Director. He had previously worked at CAL Bank Limited from 1994 to March 2008. At CAL Bank, Mr. Bentil worked in various capacities as Director, Retail & Business Banking, Director, Corporate and Institutional Banking and with CAL Merchant Bank Limited as Director Relationship Banking Department to mention a few. Mr. Bentil had prior to CAL Bank, worked with the Social Security Bank Limited. Mr. Bentil holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Ghana Legon and Bachelor of Arts (Hons.), Dip. Ed. from the University of Cape Coast.
Mr. Charles Otoo was until recently the General Manager of First National Savings and Loans Limited. He had previously worked with several Banks and in various capacities namely the HFC Bank as a General Manager, SG-SSB Bank Limited as Head, Risk Management. He also worked with Merchant Bank (Ghana) Limited as Head of Corporate Banking and Regional Manager successively, and with Barclays Bank (Ghana) Limited as an Inspector. Mr. Otoo holds an MBA degree in Strategic Management and is a fellow of the Chartered Institutes of Bankers (Ghana) and (UK) and of the Professional Financial Managers (UK).
Mr. Kofi Anokye Owusu-Darko was until recently the Head of Consumer Banking Operations, Merchant Bank (Ghana) Ltd. Before joining Merchant Bank, he had worked at Metropolitan and Allied Bank Ltd; Sigma Financial & Management Advisory Services, and Barclays Bank (Ghana) Ltd. Mr. Owusu-Darko’s educational and professional qualifications include the following: ACIB (UK);LL.M; EMBA;CMC;Dip.FM;ACIA,and RODP.
Mr.Ebenezer Kweku Aminarh was until recently, the Head, Credit Division at NDK Financial Services (NDK). Before joining NDK, he had worked at The Ghana Co-operative Bank Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Mr. Thompson Dwumah was until recently a General Manager (Treasury and Investments), at First Capital Plus Savings and Loans Ltd. He had previously worked at Unibank Ghana Limited as Head of Treasury; Africa Export-Import Bank, Cairo as Manager, Treasury and Finance; First Atlantic Merchant Bank Limited in various capacities as Treasurer, Chief Accountant and a Deputy Internal Auditor. Mr. Dwumah also worked at Ernst and Young, Ghana, and Capital Group Ltd. Mr. Dwumah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, and has his Dissertation to submit to Leicester University for the award of a Master of Business Administration degree. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ghana.
Mr. Evans Amartey was until recently the Head, Technology Services at UniBank Ghana Limited. Previously, he had worked at Ecobank Ghana, Tema Development Corporation and UNDP/Central Region Development Project (CERIDEP). He holds a Master of Science Degree in Information Technology and a Diploma in Data Processing.
Mr. David Okyere Nyarkoh is the Head, Finance and Strategy. Prior to his appointment, he was the Financial Controller of Merchant Bank Ghana Limited. He previously worked with the Volta River Authority (VRA) and KPMG.
A Chartered Accountant by profession, Mr. Nyarkoh holds an Executive MBA in Finance and has over 20 years of progressive working experience in Administration, Audit, Treasury, Taxation and Financial Management and Control.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Ms. Annita Bedzra was until recently a Legal Manager at Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited. She had worked in various capacities, as Acting Head of Legal and Company Secretary with Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited, Company Secretary, Fidelity Securities Limited and, Legal and Credit Risk Officer with the United Bank for Africa. Ms. Bedzra also worked with the Audit Service of Ghana as an Assistant Director and as a Private Legal Practitioner with General Law Consult, as Head of Litigation. She is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.
Mr. Ben Danquah was until recently the Head (Legal and Company Secretary) and Acting Head (Human Resources Management) at Sahel-Sahara Bank (BSIC) Ghana Ltd. Before joining BSIC, he had worked at The Trust Bank Ltd; Ghana Standards Board, and Onimpa Akuoko & Co,Legal Practitioners. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Professional Certificate in Law.
Mr. Kwame Annoh was until recently the Head (Recoveries and Monitoring) at Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited (FBGL). Before joining FBGL, he worked at the United Bank for Africa as Head (Local Corporate Unit), MLS Chase Solicitors, in London and Merchant Bank Ghana Limited. He holds a Masters Degree in Banking and Finance.
Mr. Henry Nii Yartey Annan was, Chief Manager, Internal Control at First Atlantic Merchant Bank Limited where he earlier held positions of Senior Manager, Corporate Banking, Treasurer, Chief Accountant and Manager Corporate Banking. He had previously worked at Ghana Heavy Equipment Limited, Pax Travel Limited, London and United Friendly Insurance among others. Mr. Henry Nii Yartey Annan is a qualified Accountant and a fellow of ACCA and ICA (Ghana) and has 13 (Thirteen) years banking experience.
Nuku Kwaku Attipoe has had over 8years career experience in Risk Management. He had previously worked in the Erstwhile IBG in various capacities of Risk management including; Head of Risk Management, Risk Management officer, Head of Credit Administration, Head of Credit Appraisals, Business Affairs Manager, Committee chairman of Enterprise Risk Management Committee.
Until his appointment to Cluster head of the Tema Region of Access Bank Ghana Limited Nuku Attipoe also worked with Lehman Brothers (UK), He holds an MSC. in International Banking and Finance from university of Greenwich, London and Bsc. (Hon) in Agricultural Economics from university of Ghana, Legon.
Mrs. Maria Adamu-Zibo is the Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Board. Prior to her engagement at the Bank, she worked at Cocoa Merchants (Gh.) Ltd for 12 years in various managerial positions, exiting as the Deputy Managing Director in charge of Finance and Administration. She holds an MBA in Finance from GIMPA, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration & Finance from HEC (Montreal, Canada) and a diploma in Accounting.
